Favorite Quote: ‘You cannot pass!’

Why I liked it: I know it’s such an overused quote… but I couldn’t help it!

Side note: One thing I will say is watching the movie really made Gandalf’s death seem more depressing. I know since it’s a movie, we can see their faces and see the pain that’s felt. We also get to actually see Gandalf fall and it seems more real since it’s being visualized, but in the book, it really didn’t make me feel too much of anything. It was like, one minute he’s there, then he’s gone and then they move on. I know it said that the Felloship cried and mourned for a short bit, but then Aragorn’s like “I told you so Gandalf! Now let’s move on troops!”

I also realize that Gandalf comes back, so there’s no need to be depressed in the first place, but I think the movie portrayed it better. What do my readers think? There have been 24 of you in the last 3 days, so I know that some people are reading it! What version do you like better? The book or the live action film? Or neither? Do you like the cartoons more? I’m interested to hear what people say!

Elvish:

Lesson three was more plurals. These were all the weird irregular one’s though. It’s something that I’ll just need to keep referencing back to until I get the hang of it. Tomorrow should hopefully start some of the more interesting things. ;]

Until tomorrow then Tolkien Fans!
